Albert F. Felberg

Melbourne Beach, FL Albert F. Felberg, 85, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born in Paterson, NJ on January 3, 1925.
Al served in the United States Navy during WWII in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters. After the war, he graduated from the School of Fine and Industrial Arts, Newark NJ, and attended the Art Student League of New York City.
His career as a stained glass artist started in Paterson, NJ. He then owned his own studio and also worked with Rohlfs Stained and Leaded Glass Studio in Mt. Vernon, NY. He became a distinguished member of the Stained Glass Association of America. Al's work of over 40 years as a stained glass artist can be seen in churches and synagogues throughout the United States and Europe.
Al married Marilyn Wunder in New Jersey after WWII. They had two children and were married for over 48 years when Marilyn passed away.
In 1997, Al married Helen Snyder of Beach Haven, NJ. They moved to Melbourne Beach, FL and enjoyed life to the fullest traveling, cruising, and spending time with all of their children, grandchildren, and great grandson of their wonderful blended family.
Al loved the game of golf and continued his passion of painting. We will miss him and his love and laughter.
Al is survived by his loving wife Helen; his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Sue; grandsons Bryan and Patrick of Montose, CO; his daughter Sherri of Palm Desert, CA; his stepchildren Carol and Leonard Crosta; granddaugher Emily and great grandson Ethan of Micco, FL; Maggie and Robert Aftanis; grandchildren Natalie, Rob, Renet, and Everett of Beach Haven, NJ.

Funeral Information
A celebration of his life will be at St. Sebastian's by-the-sea Episcopal church, Melbourne Beach, on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to St. Sebastian's by-the-sea Episcopal Church, or, to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, or the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
