Ciera's family includes her daddy and mommy Byron and Jessica Parrish; sisters Alyssa, Paige, Nivea, Keyona, and Taysia; paternal grandfather Byron Parrish, Sr.; paternal grandmother Barbara Glass; grandparents Doug and Dana Scott; maternal grandparents Wayne and Susan Hosburgh; paternal great grandfather Larry Deer; great grandparents Dick and Mary Pearce; maternal great grandmother Betty Gilligan, paternal aunts Shanenne Parrish and Amanda (Robert) Plemmons; aunt Jamie Scott; maternal uncle Nathan (Magda) Hosburgh, maternal aunt Dana (Ben) Haven, maternal uncle Noah (Sara) Hosburgh, maternal uncle Michael Dobos, maternal aunt Kristin Papp, and maternal aunt Traci (Brett) Gillespie; and godparents Piper Dillon and Chris Aquilino; and her biological mother Jennyline Hosburgh. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mary Hosburgh.

Ciera was a student in Mrs. Rosette's class at Palm Bay Academy Charter School.
