She graduated from Melbourne High School in 1967. She sang with the former Lee Caron Show at the Carnival Club and Mouse Trap in Merritt Island as "Mary Carole".
Mary is survived by her husband, John McGinley; sons James (Kim) Carroll, Craig (Mimi) Carroll, Christopher Carroll, and Tommy (Kristina) Archer; granddaughters Marianna Carroll, Teresa Carroll, Reagan Carroll, and Desiree Archer; grandsons James Carroll, Christopher Carroll, and Joshua Carroll; step children JP McGinley and Dawn Renee McGinley; mother Gertrude Lyons; sisters Kathy Day, Patricia Lyons, Theresa Murray, and Cecile Saltalamacchia; brothers James Lyons, Thomas Lyons, Joseph Lyons, and Robert Lyons.

Calling hours will be from 2:00 pm until time of service at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2010 at South Brevard Funeral Home.
