Born in Madison, Wisconsin, and raised in Verona, Wisconsin, he moved to Titusville in June 1983.
His wife, Dorothy, predeceased him in February 2004; and his cousin, Dolores Frederickson.
He is survived by his son, Daniel (Barbara) Adams.
