Mardell E. Pacheco

April 23, 1921 - January 21, 2010

West Melbourne FL

MARDELL E. PACHECO, 88, of West Melbourne, Florida, passed into the light on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at her home.

Born in Chicago, Illinois she moved to Florida in the early 1980's with her late husband, Apolonio Pacheco, who passed away in 1990.

Mardell was a librarian having worked as a Rare Book Archivist at the Firestone Library of Princeton University, and at the Melbourne Library here in Florida.

After her library career she worked as a medical secretary for Doctor's Gurri and Mendes and later for Doctor Eplett.

In her younger years, Mardell played the organ. In Florida she was active in her church, Unity Church of Melbourne, and had a passion for studying metaphysics. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her family includes her son, Keith Pacheco and his former wife, Lee; daughter, Joan Timmons and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Rachel and Julie Pacheco, Kelly Worley and her husband, David, Cricket Bailey and her husband, Rodney, Shane Winn and his wife, Vonn, Rose Hyde and her husband, Jason; Jesse Timmons and his partner, April; great grandchildren, Alysia, Taresa, Austin, Kent, Dyllan, Kearstyn, Brooklyn, Blakely, Conlon, Bryson, Brianna, Raffiel, Jordan, Adrian and Tyler; and her many friends.

Also included in the family was her step-son, George and his wife, Dorothy Pach; and his children, Debbie Pach, George Jr. and his family, and Greg and his family.

Funeral Information

A Celebration Of Her Life will be Friday, January 29, 2010, at Unity Church of Melbourne, 1745 Trimble Road, Melbourne. A prelude will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by the celebration at 7:00 pm.

Donations Information

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Unity Church of Melbourne.
