Harvey Kreplick

August 23, 1927 - July 03, 2010

CAPE CANAVERAL

Mr. Harvey Kreplick, 82, beloved husband of Elaine (Sapolsky) Kreplick, died peacefully, on Saturday, July 3, 2010, after a brief illness.

Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Dr. Morris and Rose (Roodin) Kreplick. He graduated Lynn Classical (class of 45), where he was an outstanding basketball player. He set the Essex County scoring record for a single season. He also played basketball for the YMHA and the YMCA. Harvey was employed as a parts department manager for Bell Oldsmobile in Revere, MA. Prior to moving to Cape Canaveral, Florida, he was for many years a member of the Board of Directors at the Brotherhood Credit Union in Lynn. Harvey and his beloved wife Elaine of 58 years had a passion for playing cards; and loved to dine out, watch movies and baseball, walk, swim, and enjoy family and friends. In addition to his loving wife, Harvey is survived by his daughter, Carrie Giest of Tampa, FL., sons Harlin Kreplick and his wife Linda of Davenport, FL., and Alan Kreplick and his wife Brenda of Beverly, MA.; his grandchildren, Alison, Kyle, Lee, and Casey; his sister, Florence Goldman of Peterborough, NH., and his brothers, Dr. Joseph Kreplick of Dunedin, FL, Hubert Kreplick of Salem, MA.; and preceded in death by his brother Dr. Sumner Kreplick.

Funeral Information

A Celebration of Life was held at the clubhouse at their residence, Villages at Seaport, Cape Canaveral, FL.
