Charles H. Christy, Sr., of Palm Bay, FL died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.

He was born on January 10, 1944 in Lynn, MA to Joseph Edward and Alice Maria Collyer Christy, Sr.

Charles came to Brevard County in 1983 from Plymouth, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. He served honorably in the US Marines during the Vietnam War.

His family includes his wife of 33 years Mary Anne; sons Jonathan Henry Christy, Charles Henry Christy, Jr., and Matthew Nunes; mother Alice Edwards; brother Joseph Edward Christy, Jr.; grandchildren Hilary Nunes, Andrew Joseph Nunes, Alyssa Nunes; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
