Stanley P. Monkowski, 87, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Palm Bay Community Hospital.

Stanley was born August 1, 1922 in Bayonne, NJ. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and a retired Captain for the Bayonne, NJ, Fire Department.

His family includes his wife of 65 years, Rita: three sons, Stanley Monkowski Jr., William (Judith) Monkowski and James (Cathy) Monkowski; five grandchildren, Matthew, Cara, Jennifer, Frank and Chastity and six great grandchildren, Cameron, Carrington, Chastity, Devin, Symone and Xavier.

Funeral Information

Viewing will be on Monday, January 11 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Bay Funeral Home, 950 Malabar Road SE.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 12 at 12 Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5310 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay.
