Richard Lee Pearce, Sr., 80, of Palm Bay, FL died on January 8, 2012. He was born in Kankakee, IL on December 13, 1931 to Irvin and Ethel Savoy Pearce.

Survivors include his wife Mary Catherine Pearce; son and daughter-in-law Charles A. and Cheryl Pearce; daughter Anna-Marie Severson; daughter and son -in-law Teresa and Bill Adams; stepson and daughter-in-law Douglas and Dana Scott; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law James and Dee Pearce; and sister Linda Benoit. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Lee Pearce, Jr., and Donald Murray Pearce.

Richard was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and a United States Navy veteran. He had worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry for Pan Am / Johnson Controls for many years.

His Funeral Mass is at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay, FL at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2012.
