William "Glen" Harvey

May 25, 1927 - July 22, 2010

Indian Harbour Beach, Florida

William “Glen” Harvey, 83, of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, in Palm Bay, FL. Mr. Harvey was born May 25, 1927, in Frostburg, MD to Albert and Fannie (Skidmore) Harvey. He retired from Gallaudet College in Washington, DC.

Glen and his family moved from Beltsville, MD 37 years ago.

He was a former owner of Virginia Fried Chicken in Satellite Beach, FL. Glen was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 81 in Melbourne, FL.

He was predeceased in death by his wife, Alma Chabot Harvey in 1997, his parents and brothers, Ralph and Francis.

Glen is survived by his daughter, Christine Clemens of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; son, William “Chip” (Denise) Harvey of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Nicole and James Harvey and Tara and Rebecca Clemens; great granddaughter, Ashlyn Clemens.

Funeral Information

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 1:00 on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, FL.

Donations Information

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Suite 280, Melbourne, FL 32934.
