Edward J. Campbell

October 15, 1936 - January 17, 2010

Palm Bay, FL

Edward J. Campbell, 74, of Palm Bay, FL passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Mr. Campbell was born in Jamaica, Queens, NY in 1936. He was a US Army veteran and served in Germany, Holland, and the USA in the late 1950's.

He worked for Grumman Aircraft at Bethpage, L.I. and came to Brevard County in 1965 on the Apollo Lunar Program. He continued his career with Grumman on the F-14 Program in 1973 at Pt. Mugu and Miramar, CA until his retirement in 1994.

Survivors include his sister Patti Chamberlain of Grand Junction, Co, his brother Robert Campbell of Maryland; and his aunt Grace Sheehan of Long Island, New York.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at Palm Bay Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Niche placement will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm with honors accorded by the US Army.
