David Davis Woodbridge

David Davis Woodbridge, 88, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010. He was born January 29, 1922 in Seattle, WA. David was preceded by his wife Mary R. Woodbridge, He is survived by his sons Wayne and Tom, his daughter-in-law Amelia; and granddaughters Lauren and Andrea.

He served in WWII with the Army Transport in the Pacific and Atlantic. With a PhD in Physics, he spent his life as a college educator, moving to Melbourne in 1963, and was the first Director of the Physics Department at FIT. He finished his teaching career in 2002 with the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.

Funeral Information

His cryptside service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon, FL.
