Etta L. Howell

December 14, 1919 - February 05, 2010

Palm Bay

Etta was born 90 years ago in Albany, Georgia on October 14, 1919 and passed on February 5, 2010.

Etta, the last of her siblings, has now joined her beloved twin sister Anna and five other siblings.

Etta met and married her first husband, Leo, about 1935. They lived together in Miami, FL until his death on January 10, 1956.

She raised two daughters, working and retiring from Sears.

She married a second time to Steve Perrone who, after only two months, passed.

Etta then met Lt. Col. John R. Howell and married on Valentines Day in 1972.

Etta & John enjoyed 20 years together, travelling around the world. They were members of a Square Dancing group until his death in January, 1992.

In 2001, Etta moved with her daughter Linda and son in law Bob to Palm Bay.

Etta is survived by her two daughters, Linda and Kathryn, four grandchildren, Jeff, Scott, Rod and Kristen; five great grandchildren, Elyse, Matthew, Kayla, Katelin and Austin and her beloved niece Johanna, the daughter of her twin sister.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Palm Bay Funeral Home, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay.
