Meet our dedicated staff members:
George W. Ammen, Jr.
Our founder George was raised in Miami, Florida, is a US Navy Veteran and has been a Florida Funeral Director since 1947. He moved to Brevard County in 1961 and opened the first Ammen Family location in 1970. He lives with his wife Ann in Cocoa and North Carolina.
Michael W. Ammen
Mike joined the family business in 1973 and became a licensed funeral director in 1978. Now as President of the Ammen Family, he oversees the operation of all locations. He is married to Peggy, a school teacher, and has two children, Chris and Dan. Mike is an avid racquetball player in his spare time.
Ralph D. Sutliff
A licensed funeral director for 25 years, Ralph has been working in Brevard County since 1995. Ralph is a semi-professional magician. He and his wife Kathleen perform shows throughout the area.
Joye Eiker
A native of Illinois and a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Joye joined our staff in 1992. A licensed funeral director in Illinois and Florida, she joined our staff when her husband Dave was transferred to Patrick Air Force Base with the US Air Force. He is now retired.
Mark Sienkiewicz
Currently a licensed funeral director in Florida and New York, Mark has been working in funeral service for over 25 years. He joined our staff in 1995 after moving to Florida from New York. Active in the community, Mark is married to Sue, an Olive Garden manager, and they have two children.
Steve Costantini
A retired New York Police officer, Steve joined our staff in 2002 and is now one of our certified crematory operators and our crematory manager. Steve and his wife Diane have enjoyed their new life in Florida since 1995.
Mary Pullis
A long time Florida resident, Mary joined our staff in 2006 as an administrative assistant. She previously worked for government offices in Ohio and Brevard County. A mother and grandmother, Mary enjoys spending time with her family.
Mary Petty
Mary moved to Florida from Cincinnati, Ohio in 1982. She joined The Ammen Family Staff in 1997 shortly after her family selected our firm to help make arrangements after the death of her mother-in-law. With a BA in Sociology, Mary helps our community's families as an advance arrangement counselor. A mother of two, her husband Walt is a Sergeant with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
Scott Sisk
A native of Eau Gallie, Scott rejoined our staff in 2006 after living in Gainesville, Florida for several years. He is a certified crematory operator and licensed apprentice currently enrolled in the American Academy of Mortuary Science. Scott is married to Amber, and they enjoy spending time with their dog.
Howard Brown
Retired from Indiana University Optometry School, Howard is a funeral directors assistant and driver. He and his wife Maxine live in West Melbourne and enjoy going to church and traveling.
Dick Hill
Retired from Bell South, Dick joined our staff in 2003 as a funeral directors assistant and driver. He and his wife Jane live in Melbourne and enjoy time with their children and grandchildren.
